We Desire To Be The Hands And Feet Of Jesus Christ, Wherever & Whenever We Can
Our Community Care Centers serve as neighborhood hubs for The Salvation Army. They provide emotional & spiritual care, social services, worship, community programming adapted to the needs of the neighborhoods in which they are located. The Salvation Army operates six centers across the Greater Houston area, providing a direct link to resources for children, teens, adults, senior citizens, and families. We also provide senior housing through our William and Evangeline Booth Garden Apartments, with wrap-around care provided by their neighboring Community Care Centers.
In keeping with The Salvation Army's mission to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and alleviate human suffering, our Care Centers provide Community Worship services on Sunday, Bible studies, and vacation Bible school.
Our Center Worship enriches the quality of life and provides fellowship among members of the community, allowing individuals from different walks of life to find opportunities to learn, worship, and serve together. Our neighborhood-focused activities and programs are motivated by our love of God and the desire to help others, creating a spirit that makes everyone participating feel right at home.
