Welcome back our Salvationist Service Corps teams!
These missions were not just about travel; they were journeys of faith and spreading the love of Christ to communities across the globe...
The Salvation Army of Greater Houston is thrilled to welcome back our dedicated Salvationist Service Corps (SSC) teams from their inspiring mission trips to Norway, Malaysia, and Singapore. These missions were not just about travel; they were journeys of faith, service, and spreading the love of Christ to communities across the globe.
In Norway, Jayden Outler, and his team focused on community outreach, assisting local Salvation Army efforts in supporting families and individuals in need. Their work included organizing food distribution events, participating in youth programs, and helping with community building projects. The impact was profound, as our team members built lasting relationships and left a positive mark on the communities they served.
Deshaun Jackson and the team that journeyed to Malaysia and Singapore engaged in various humanitarian projects, including providing support to underserved communities and working with children and families in need. Their efforts were met with warm hearts and open arms, as they shared the love and hope of the gospel through their actions and words.
As our teams return, they bring back not only stories of the lives they touched but also a renewed sense of purpose and dedication to serving others. The experiences gained from these trips will continue to inspire their work here in Greater Houston, as they apply the lessons learned and the love shared on an international scale to our local communities.
