Nico Collins Food Distribution at Houston International Corps
In a powerful show of community spirit, Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins teamed up with Randalls and The Salvation Army of Greater Houston for a special food distribution event at the Houston International Corps. The event brought joy, hope, and much needed support to families preparing for the holiday season.
Nico Collins spent the evening personally handing out food boxes, greeting families, and signing autographs for excited fans. His presence created an energetic, fun-filled environment as children and adults alike enjoyed the opportunity to meet one of Houston Texan NFL stars. His genuine interactions and humble spirit made the day truly memorable.
The event was a meaningful collaboration between community partners. Randalls provided generous support. In addition, the men of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) volunteered on-site, helping distribute food boxes with efficiency and compassion. Their hard work and dedication added to the success of the day, reflecting The Salvation Army’s ongoing commitment to service and restoration.
Together, these efforts turned an ordinary day into a celebration of community, connection, and kindness. As the holiday season approaches, partnerships like this remind us of the impact we can make when we unite for a shared purpose uplifting our neighbors in need.
The Salvation Army of Greater Houston extends heartfelt thanks to Nico Collins, Randalls, the Houston Texans organization, and all volunteers for helping us continue our mission of Doing the Most Good.
