Houston Welcomes the “Compassion in Action” Brigade of Cadets on Spring Campaigns!
The Compassion in Action Brigade of Cadets from The Salvation Army Evangeline Booth College in Atlanta, Georgia, has been a beacon of hope and service during their mission trip to Houston! Over the course of their journey, these dedicated cadets have actively engaged with various Salvation Army programs, making a meaningful impact across our communities.
Their tour included visits to: Aldine Westfield Corps – Participating in senior and youth programs, as well as Bible study, Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) – Encouraging individuals on their road to recovery.
Conroe Corps for community outreach and a spring carnival celebration, Houston International Corps – Engaging with local ministry programs, Northwest Corps – Assisting with programs that uplift families and empower youth, Pasadena Corps – Helping with youth programs, preparing meals for seniors, participating in home delivery of meals to shut-ins and community outreach, at Temple Corps they participated in senior programs and community service and finally at the Young Adult Resource Center (YARC) – Serving as living testimonies by sharing personal experiences, offering emotional support, and taking it to the streets with the homeless outreach team.
Through their dedication and servant hearts, these cadets have truly embodied The Salvation Army’s mission bringing faith, hope, and love to those in need. Their presence has been a blessing, and we are deeply grateful for their passion, faith and demonstrations of Christ’s love in action.
