CMA CGM Brings Holiday Hope to Families at Aldine Westfield Corps
The Salvation Army of Greater Houston is proud to share the success of our recent food distribution event in partnership with the CMA CGM Foundation’s Giving Across North America Initiative. This collaborative effort brought together CMA CGM, CEVA Logistics, American President Lines (APL), and The Salvation Army with one shared mission: to fight food insecurity during the holiday season.
A huge thanks to the support of the CMA CGM Foundation and our dedicated partners, we launched the first event in a series of food distributions designed to bring relief to families across Houston. Together, we united our resources and compassion to ensure families had access to essential food items during a time when many face financial strain.
This year more than 50 staff members from CMA CGM and CEVA Logistics generously volunteered their time to help distribute boxes filled with non-perishable food items enough to provide 21,600 meals to families in need. Their dedication and teamwork helped create a seamless and uplifting experience for every household served.
Families from across the community came out to receive nutritious food supplies that will help them celebrate the holiday season with dignity and hope. The outpouring of gratitude from the community was matched by the enthusiasm of volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure every family felt supported.
Thank You to All Involved from the committed volunteers to every family who participated, we are deeply grateful. This event would not have been possible without the generosity, organization, and compassion of our partners at CMA CGM, CEVA Logistics, American President Lines, and the CMA CGM Foundation.
Together, we continue to move forward with our mission, Doing the Most Good.
