Christmas in July 5K, 10K & Kids Reindeer Dash Brings Hope to Greater Houston
On Saturday, July 25, 2026, more than 400 participants gathered at TC Jester Park for The Salvation Army Greater Houston's Christmas in July 5K, 10K & Kids Reindeer Dash a morning filled with festive fun, community spirit, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
This wasn't just another race. It was a run for hope, bringing our community together to help provide Christmas joy and critical services for thousands of local families in need throughout Greater Houston.
Families, friends, coworkers, and running clubs laced up their shoes and enjoyed the scenic course through TC Jester Park while embracing the excitement of a Christmas celebration in the middle of summer. From the Kids Reindeer Dash to the holiday-themed festivities, participants created lasting memories while supporting a cause that changes lives.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our runners, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, this year's event welcomed more than 400 attendees and raised an outstanding $31,075.65 to support The Salvation Army Greater Houston's year-round programs and services, including assistance that brings hope to families during the Christmas season.
