A Night to Remember: The Gift of Compassion 2025 Annual Gala
What an unforgettable evening filled with generosity, inspiration, and compassion! This year’s Annual Gala “Gift of Compassion” brought together supporters, partners, and friends from across Greater Houston to celebrate the power of giving and to uplift The Salvation Army’s mission of Doing the Most Good in our community.
Guests enjoyed a beautiful evening dedicated to hope, service, and impact, an evening made even more special by our remarkable Event Chair, Deborah Duncan, host of Great Day Houston. Her energy, warmth, and heartfelt commitment set the tone for a night full of meaning and celebration.
We were privileged to recognize two extraordinary honorees whose leadership and generosity makes a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve: Our Community Honoree Jeff Bagwell was honored for his unwavering dedication to serving with heart, humility, and compassion, Jeff continues to be an inspiring example of what community leadership looks like and our Corporate Honoree: CenterPoint Energy was Celebrated for their long-standing partnership and commitment to creating lasting impact across Houston, CenterPoint Energy embodies what it means to invest in others.
A very special thank-you goes to Forney Construction, our Gala Underwriter, whose tremendous generosity made this inspiring evening possible. Their partnership continues to strengthen our ability to serve families in crisis and build brighter futures.
Both the live and silent auctions were an incredible success, with enthusiastic bidding and heartfelt contributions from attendees. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who participated, more families across the Greater Houston Area will experience hope, stability, and support this holiday season.
To our sponsors, guests, volunteers, and community partners, thank you. Your presence and support truly exemplify compassion in action. Together, we are uplifting lives, strengthening families, and ensuring that every person we serve knows they are not alone.
