A Legacy of Service: The Continued Impact in Our Community
For years, the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary of Greater Houston (SAWA) has been a steadfast pillar of support standing beside The Salvation Army of Greater Houston with compassion, strength, and purpose. From organizing high-impact fundraisers like Reflections on Style (ROS) to volunteering at events, mentoring youth, and walking alongside individuals in crisis, SAWA’s members are more than supporters, they are partners in hope.
Thanks to the continued success of ROS and other initiatives, SAWA has raised and distributed significant funds to help power our Community Centers, Red Shield Youth Centers, and vital programs that serve people from all walks of life without discrimination.
Most recently, the SAWA Executive Committee came together once again to thoughtfully allocate the funds raised, ensuring that every dollar is directed where it will make the greatest difference. Their wisdom, care, and faith led decision making continue to be a blessing to our mission and the thousands of lives we reach.
To every SAWA member: Thank you for your leadership, your generosity, and your unwavering commitment to creating a stronger, more compassionate Greater Houston. You remind us daily what it means to serve with purpose and faith.
