The conference brought together veteran service providers from across the nation...
The Salvation Army Greater Houston is honored to have Wesley and Richard representing our team at the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Fiscal Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. The conference brought together veteran service providers from across the nation to share best practices, strengthen partnerships, and explore innovative strategies to better serve veterans and their families.
Throughout the conference, attendees celebrated the collective impact of organizations dedicated to supporting those who have served our country. Together, participating agencies including The Salvation Army Greater Houston provided critical assistance to more than 99,000 veterans, 150,000 veteran family members, and 30,000 children of veterans over the past year.
As our representatives engage with fellow service providers, they are gaining valuable insights and resources that will help strengthen the services we provide throughout the Greater Houston area. This opportunity to learn, collaborate, and exchange ideas reinforces our ongoing commitment to ensuring veterans and their families have access to the housing stability, financial assistance, and supportive services they need to thrive.
The Salvation Army Greater Houston remains deeply committed to serving those who have sacrificed for our nation. We are grateful for opportunities like the SSVF Conference that equip our team to continue serving veterans and their families with compassion, dignity, and hope.
