In the community since 1951, the Pasadena Corps Community Center is a resource of Christian ministry for worship and social interaction, which also provides services to address the needs of local residents of all ages.
Among the programs offered:
Social services, financial assistance and a food pantry.
The Evangeline Booth Garden Apartments opened its doors in 2005 in order to preserve and enhance the dignity and independence of the elderly, specifically those who might not otherwise be able to afford housing on their own.
The 62-unit facility is located across the street from the Pasadena Corps Community Center, giving residents access to the spiritual, social, physical and educational development opportunities offered at the Corps.
