Housing and Case Management
We use our resources and partner with other Greater Houston Area agencies to locate and secure safe, stable housing for individuals, families and older adults who are homeless or are at risk of losing their home.
Housing for Families At Risk of Homelessness
The safety net is perilously thin, and many people in our community are one job loss or illness away from losing everything. We help with emergency financial assistance and case management to help them avoid becoming homeless. Our caring staff help people develop a plan, create stability, and connect them to other resources and benefits.
Housing for Chronically Homeless
While most of Houston’s homeless individuals are homeless due to job loss or other personal crises, about a third struggle with serious health issues. We provide community-based housing for individuals and families who have experienced long-term homelessness or have been diagnosed with a disability, mental illness or substance abuse issue.
Affordable Housing for Low-Income Seniors
For older adults who are able to live independently but are not able to afford housing, we offer two one-bedroom, 62-unit apartment complexes for seniors ages 62 and older and who meet income guidelines.
Program partially funded by Harris County Community Services Dept. and the City of Houston Housing and Community Development through the Child Care Council of Greater Houston, Inc.
