Lifesaving Services for the Homeless

The Salvation Army offers four emergency shelters which serve as a refuge for homeless men, women and families. We provide not only safety and stability, but also intensive case management with passionate and caring staff focused on helping people get back on their feet.

Most people who seek our help become homeless through combined effects of lack of affordable housing, extreme poverty, domestic violence, and fractured social supports.

We offer shelter at the following locations:

In response to a growing number of young adults experiencing homelessness, The Salvation Army also operates a Young Adult Resource Center (YARC) for young adults ages 18 to 25. We aim to connect young people to housing and other mainstream support. Visitors to YARC receive meals, job coaching, recovery coaching, and non-traditional educational support, tutoring and re-engagement.
