Monetary Donations
Concerned individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate entrust The Salvation Army with financial contributions, thereby allowing our organization to be their hands in the community. As a result of generous charitable contributions, the Army is able to provide food for the hungry, offer shelter to those without a home, help the addicted break free from dependence on drugs and alcohol, assist working-poor families with emergency rent and utility bill payments, and much more.

Material Donations
When many people think about giving to The Salvation Army, they think of donating clothes and furniture they no longer use or need. We truly appreciate these donations. However, gifts of this type fully fund only one of our programs - resident substance abuse treatment at Adult Rehabilitation Centers. The vast majority of Salvation Army programs and services must be funded by monetary donations.
