Aldine Westfield

Program Aide – PT

Primary Functions: Assists in facilitating and monitoring activities of the Boys and Girls Club; supervises and coaches sporting events; assists in maintaining the Boys and Girls Club facilities, equipment, and grounds.

Activities Coordinator – PT

Primary Functions: Plans, develops, schedules, coordinates, facilitates, and monitors a variety of engaging activities, events, and trips to meet the needs and interests of specific groups participating in Salvation Army programs; monitors all activities to ensure needs of participants are met and to ensure compliance with established activity plans as well as The Salvation Army policies and procedures.

Family Residence

Housing Monitor – FT

Primary Functions:  Assists residents staying in the Family Residence overnight; performs client intake procedures and prepares client intake records; monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance to house rules; maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that facility is maintained in a neat and proper order.

Cook – FT

Primary Functions:  Cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules; ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans kitchen facilities, equipment and appliances; maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

Harbor Light

Lead Case Management Specialists (Red Shield Lodge and Recovery) – FT

Primary Functions:   Serves as lead worker to case management staff; interviews, accepts, and provides comprehensive, long-term, structured, complex, case management services for an assigned caseload of clients participating in an established  life management program; understands the uniqueness of the client’s history in order to determine most effective program plans; develops comprehensive program plan/goals and evaluates client’s progress by conducting mentoring and counseling sessions with client and/or staff; serves as advocate for client in order to acquire services that will enable them to functionally cope with their environment; ensures constant compliance with funding requirements.

Northwest

Program Aide – PT

Social Services

Housing Navigator – FT

Primary Functions: The Housing Navigator is responsible for working closely with the case management team in order to assist individuals and families participating in the Houston Area Command’s housing program; assists individuals and families with SASS (Securing Affordable Safe Sustainable) housing opportunities; provides guidance and direct assistance to individuals and families with utilizing housing resources, housing opportunities as it  relate to past/present barriers, budgeting (review of FRP), and others that are deemed necessary; networks, maintains and cultivates relationships with landlords, private and non-profits, and potential community partners that want to provide housing opportunities to TSA housing program participants.

Houston Temple

Program Aide – PT

Primary Functions: Assists in facilitating and monitoring activities of the Boys and Girls Club; supervises and coaches sporting events; assists in maintaining the Boys and Girls Club facilities, equipment, and grounds.
