Plans, directs, monitors, and evaluates all internal and external media and public relations functions for the Houston Area Command to ensure the that The Salvation Army maintains a positive and professional image in the community; serves as Public Information Officer for all disaster services of the Houston Area Command; serves as liaison to all media ensuring the desired message is communicated; takes photographs and writes articles covering Salvation Army events.

Program Volunteer Supervisor – FT

Long-Term Recovery Program Manager – FT
Job Summary: Supervise case managers and be responsible for the achievement of recovery case management goals. Provide overall case management direction, activities and integration with other staff in the program. Will be responsible for reporting, compliance, monitoring, and evaluation of under direct control. Participate in disaster-related community efforts related to long-term recovery. Responsibilities will include volunteer administration, logistics, reporting, monitoring and collaborative fundraising for the project.
