Family Residence

 

Shelter Monitor – PT 

Primary Functions: Assists residents staying in the Family Residence overnight; performs client intake procedures and prepares client intake records; monitors the activity of residents on an assigned shift ensuring safety, security and compliance to house rules; maintains accurate and complete records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that facility is maintained in a neat and proper order.

Cook – FT (2 positions available) 

Primary Functions: Cooks and serves nutritional meals and snacks in accordance with established guidelines and schedules; ensures all meals are prepared and served in a safe and presentable manner; cleans kitchen facilities, equipment and appliances; maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food in a neat and orderly manner.

Harbor Light Center

 

Lead Case Management Specialists – FT 

Primary Functions: Serves as lead worker to case management staff; interviews, accepts, and provides comprehensive, long-term, structured, complex, case management services for an assigned caseload of clients participating in an established life management program; understands the uniqueness of the client’s history in order to determine most effective program plans; develops comprehensive program plan/goals and evaluates client’s progress by conducting mentoring and counseling sessions with client and/or staff; serves as advocate for client in order to acquire services that will enable them to functionally cope with their environment; ensures constant compliance with funding requirements.

Pasadena

 

Maintenance Technician – FT

Primary Functions: Performs a variety of routine repairs and maintenance work for buildings and grounds including minor heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work as well as routine maintenance and repairs.

Program Aide – PT 

Primary Functions: Assists in facilitating and monitoring activities of the Boys and Girls Club; supervises and coaches sporting events; assists in maintaining the Boys and Girls Club facilities, equipment, and grounds.

Seasonal Summer Hires – PT

Primary Functions: Plans, coordinates and teaches music to include, Brass band, drums, singing and Drama classes for the Pasadena Summer Music and Arts Camp; leads and teaches summer day camp musical to be performed at the end of day camp; supervises day camp youth during camp activities.

Evangeline Booth Garden Apartments

Bookeeper – FT

Primary fuctions: Performs bookkeeping tasks for a local unit; applies fundamental bookkeeping knowledge and skills to varied bookkeeping tasks such as posting, checking entries, issuing checks, balancing accounts, and preparing financial reports for assigned accounts; prepares and maintains financial records in an accurate, complete, and timely manner.

William Booth Garden Apartments

Facilities Maintenance Supervisor – FT

Job Summary: Plans, schedules, supervises, and performs the day-to-day general maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment; ensures all equipment remains in proper working order and compliance with standard operating procedures and safety standards; performs a variety of skilled maintenance work for buildings and grounds, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work as well as routine maintenance and repairs.
