William Booth Garden Apartments

In 1995, The Salvation Army expanded its senior programs to include affordable living for low-income seniors with the opening of the William Booth Garden Apartments, located next door to Temple Corps Community Center.

William Booth Garden Apartments, named after the founder of The Salvation Army, is a 64-unit apartment complex that provides a comfortable and affordable “place of their own” for senior citizens.

Residents live independently, but benefit from lower rents subsidized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
